At Awaken Church, we believe that our faith in Jesus Christ should be lived out in practical ways. That's why we actively seek out opportunities to serve and make a positive impact in our community. Our christian church in Jacksonville, FL partnership with Foster Closet is just one example of how we are doing this. Through Parent's Night Out events, we can provide a much-needed break for foster parents while our saints show the love of Christ to their children. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of families in our community and showing them the love of Jesus in tangible ways. At AwakenChurch, we believe that we're called to be part of something bigger than ourselves. That's why we're actively involved in international outreach, supporting long-term missionaries and sending short-term mission teams to places like El Salvador, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. This year, our "Mission: Mexico" team is partnering with a sister church in Texas to reach refugees on the Mexico-USA border with the love of Christ.
