Terms of Service

Welcome to CGMIMM. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our local business search engine and related products at cgmimm.com and our subdomains. By using CGMIMM you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account, and at least 18 to purchase a paid subscription or run advertising. You're responsible for your credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Member businesses & listings

If you claim or add a business listing you represent that you're authorized to act on that business's behalf, and that the information you provide is accurate. You grant CGMIMM a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote the content you publish in connection with the service.

We may verify, edit, suspend, or remove listings — including the right to merge duplicates, correct factual errors, or remove content that violates these Terms.

3. User content

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, photos, posts, job listings, classifieds). You grant CGMIMM a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to host, display, copy, modify for technical formatting, and distribute it in connection with the service. You represent that you have the rights to everything you post and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post anything illegal, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violating someone's privacy.
  • Post fake reviews, manipulate rankings, or impersonate a business or person.
  • Scrape, mass-download, or otherwise extract our data outside of our public APIs.
  • Probe, attack, or attempt to circumvent the security of the service.
  • Use the service to spam, send unsolicited messages, or harvest leads in bulk without permission.
  • Resell or sublicense access without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Some features (e.g., Featured Listing, CGM Ads, lead credits) are paid. Payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us — and Stripe — to charge your payment method on the schedule you select.

  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate written offer.
  • Price changes. We may change prices on renewal with at least 14 days' notice by email or in-app.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which we'll add where required.

6. Advertising & sponsored placements

Sponsored placements (CGM Ads, Featured Listings) are clearly labeled. We don't guarantee specific impression, click, lead, or conversion volumes. We reserve the right to reject or remove ad creative that violates these Terms or our advertising policies.

7. Leads & communications

When a consumer contacts a member business through CGMIMM, the business receives the consumer's information to respond to the inquiry. Member businesses must use that information only to respond to the inquiry and must comply with applicable law, including anti-spam and consumer-protection laws.

8. Intellectual property

CGMIMM, our logos, and the platform code are owned by CGMIMM and its licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or proprietary code beyond the limited license to use the service itself.

9. Third-party links & services

Listings and search results may include links to third-party sites. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” CGMIMM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that listings are accurate, that results will rank where you hope, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CGMIMM and its directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CGMIMM from any claim arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You can stop using the service any time. We can suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute terms — survive.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we'll post a notice or email you. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
