The company operates distribution centers in Miami, Jacksonville and Orlando, Fla.; Montgomery, Ala.; and Hammond, La. Its manufacturing plants produce and process a variety of products, including coffee, tea, spices, carbonated and noncarbonated drinks, frozen pizzas, ice cream, sherbet and milk. The company provides a variety of services, such as gifts cards, postage stamps, prepaid phone cards, money orders, lottery tickets and a full-service pharmacy. In addition, it provides online recipes for various appetizers, beverages, breads, muffins, cakes and cookies, desserts and entrees. Winn-Dixie, founded in 1925, maintains a location in Opelika, Ala.
