Mary Persons High School

Located in Forsyth, Ga., Mary Persons High School provides education to students in areas of academics, athletics and fine arts. The media center is a vital part of the scholastic program at the school. The center serves the students, faculty, staff and the administrators by providing a book collection of more than 12,000 volumes that are arranged by the Dewey Decimal System of Classification. It also offers various audiovisual materials and equipment, such as audiobooks, videotapes, newspapers, periodicals, laminating, photocopying and computers. The school s sports activities include basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball and tennis. Mary Persons High School also has various students clubs, including the beta club, which includes students who maintain a cumulative average of at least 90 percent marks.
