Akin to its name, the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History features the African-American culture and history of the Central Savannah River region. This museum was the former home of Miss Lucy Craft Laney who constantly strived to provide education for the African- American youth in the region. The legacy of Miss Laney is promoted through lectures, exhibitions, camps and tours that are often organized at the museum. History buffs must take a guided tour of the museum.
