First Assembly of God

First Assembly of God Church, located in Fort Myers, Fla., held its first Sunday worship service in 1972. It has a congregation of more than 4,000 members attending various services every Sunday. It offers a variety of ministries, including its children s, college and young adult ministry, that includes services, Bible study, retreats, concerts, missions and trips, and adult programs, such as Bible communities, and programs for senior adults. Its men s and women s ministries provide a variety of opportunities for men to serve in the church and in the community, and to fellowship with other believers. The church s music ministry includes songs of worship, and its media department produces eight television shows every week. First Assembly of God Church also operates Fort Myers Christian School that offers classes from grades kindergarten through eight.
