Bellingham - Council on Aging Senior Center

The Bellingham Senior Center offers a social adult day care program designed to promote and enhance the social, physical and cognitive skills of elders. It is suitable for the memory impaired, those with physical limitations or those who are isolated and homebound. We also have a monthly Memory Cafe that meets on the 4th Saturday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30. A memory cafe is a social event for family members and individuals experiencing cognitive changes from Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Memory cafes help guests feel comfortable to meet others who can relate to their experience in an accepting and welcoming atmosphere. Cafes are a place to talk with people who understand what you are going through, to focus on strengths, to enjoy other's company and to explore something new.
