Wait, maging in melee gear? would that not just be a splash. Furthermore, are there any quests i got to do other then preist in danger? (I better finish that one very soon!) The effectiveness of Slayer dart isn't affected by your magical bonus. It just impacts how hard you hit it so it's better to stick with melee armour to gain more defensive bonuses.
