Jagex announces that, after 18 years of being the battleground for PvP, Duel Arena will be ending its presence in RuneScape and a brand new area can be added. RuneScape is set to release Het's Oasis and a brand new setting, new ways to earn skills and two mini-quests for players to try.
Today marks the start of the Oasis Restoration The players will be tasked by the task of transforming the Duel Arena following a cataclysmic earthquake that has devastated the area. It is up to the players to team up to make the abandoned arena from "a bloodthirsty pit of fighting, where the greatest heroes have staked their wealth in one-on-one matches and a peaceful oasis."
Players will help rebuild the region and perform daily tasks that will reward them according to their performance. Those who take part in the community event will receive exclusive event rewards, such as a new name, a crocodile as a pet, outfits with desert themes, and Gators' footwear.
After the two-week community celebration The rebuilt area will be known as Het's Ozasis A place of exploring and learning with new information and content related to skills for those seeking to boost their Agility, farming, and hunter skills.
"Heroes can also aid the God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they go into the Tomb of Het in search of an enthralling item that will assist the gods' young ones in the Elder God Wars saga," the press release reads.
In a fresh event that runs from now until March 3, 2022 players will be able to receive a brand new version of the iconic "Partyhat" it's an item that was initially only accessible during a holiday event way back in 2001. It was initially available in red green, yellow, blue and white, RuneScape's "The Golden Party Hat Hunt" quest will let players to get one of the sought-after cosmetics in a metallic sheen.
