Master Samyukta-Aksharani and Vacana with Sanskrit Proverbs - HUA

This course is for beginners who want to learn Sanskrit proverbs and stories. It is part of the Certificate Program in Sanskrit Proficiency, Beginner Phase. The course is structured to last for 10 weeks with 1.5 hours per week. During the 11th week, there will be an exam. The curriculum is based on the book "SUPADA" published by SB-USA and other relevant course material. The course teaches how to read, write, and listen to the DevanAgari Script through simple exercises.
The course aims to help students become familiar with the letters that go together (samyukta-akSharANi), thoroughly study purusha, vacana, and linga, and engage in simple reading and conversation. Additionally, students will learn short stories by combining words and phrases, and will cover simple sentences, narratives, conversations, subhAShitAni (wise-sayings), three different lingas and purushas (genders), simple songs, and the three digits (singular, dual, and plural).
Overall, this beginner course will provide students with a solid foundation in Sanskrit proverbs and stories. The course material and structure have been created by Samskrita Bharati USA.
