The Y is the leading nonprofit in strengthening communities. Our mission is to serve individuals and families in the CSRA through programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind, and body, reflecting the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition while maintaining respect for all people. The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta has been in operation since 1858 and serves over 37,000 members in the CSRA. We provide a variety of programs including physical fitness, personal training, advanced aquatics, youth and adult sports, senior activities and child care.
