It started with a single truck. Founder Guy Antonacci led the way calling his new business Somers Sanitation, named after our home town of Somers, Connecticut. Since then we have grown our fleet, facilities and services, expanding our footprint throughout New England. As we have evolved, one thing remains the same: a commitment to the communities we serve is at the heart of everything we do. In fact, that promise is in our DNA. Today, three generations of the Antonacci family are leading the company and its affiliates into the future, grounded in the guiding principles we’ve held since the beginning: to provide outstanding customer care and innovation delivered by highly trained, knowledgeable professionals.

We take great pride in our communities, after all, we’ve been raising our families here for generations. With that heritage, comes great responsibility. That’s why you’ll see more than just our trucks around town, you’ll see USA team members volunteering locally on community cleanups, supporting little league teams and school programs. As part of our ongoing commitment, we established the Antonacci Foundation to provide assistance to a wide range of organizations and events, like our Millions of Meals Campaign. It all adds up to working together to make our neighborhoods great places to live.
