Dr. Roller moved to Northwest Arkansas in August 2007 after completing a Minimally Invasive Surgical Fellowship in Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic General Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, one of the premier bariatric surgery centers in the country. Dr. Roller has performed more than 6,000 bariatric procedures (weight loss surgeries), including the laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, lap gastric banding, the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, and the Laparoscopic Duodenal Switch with outstanding weight loss results. Dr. Roller was the 1st fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon and advanced laparoscopic surgeon in the State of Arkansas.
