Established in 1971 as the “High Point Rescue Squad,” Piedmont Triad Ambulance  Rescue has grown to become one of the largest, most respected emergency response and rescue services in North Carolina. With base stations in High Point, Greensboro, Colfax, and Asheboro, the company now provides a comprehensive range of emergency medical services to communities throughout Guilford, Davidson, and Randolph Counties, with additional transport services to destinations outside its normal service area.

With a staff of approximately 80 dedicated staff members working around-the-clock to protect the health and safety of the community, Piedmont Triad Ambulance  Rescue is equipped to handle almost any situation. Its fleet of rescue vehicles includes:

    20 ALS-licensed ambulances

    Three specially equipped boats

    A rescue truck, three staff vehicles

    An emergency support vehicle designed to aid in disasters and mass casualty situations

Crew members regularly attend training and support seminars to ensure their skills stay sharp and up-to-date. From basic CPR to defensive driving, they work hard to consistently provide high-quality care, using the most advanced techniques and equipment available.
