AMCS provides quality low cost mental health treatment programs which include: 1) Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, children and their families addressing social, emotional and behavioral issues. 2) The Hannon Immediate Intervention Program offers 10-12 weeks of brief therapy helping clients relieve or resolve an immediate crisis and restore coping skills. 3) Couples Counseling helps couples communicate without hostility in order to create or re-create their relationship. 4) At-Risk-Kids Program provides individual, family, group counseling and parenting education addressing barriers to social and academic success and behaviors that may lead to negative outcomes. The program is offered at local schools and a club. 5) Therapeutic Groups include groups with a specific focus like anger management, anxiety, self-esteem and depression. 6) Psychiatric Services including diagnosis, medication and monitoring. 7) Case Management connects clients to area resources and services. 8) LGBT Affirmative Therapy Center, to assure inclusivity so that the needs of all community members are met.
