Optimum TMS

Our practice provides deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, commonly known as TMS. Treatment is FDA cleared for those patients suffering from major depressive disorder. Through repetitive stimulation, TMS is thought to increase neuronal connections and restore healthy brain functioning, subsequently alleviating the symptoms of depression. Generally, TMS is well tolerated and patients are able to return to normal activity immediately. Ideal candidates for TMS therapy are those patients who are treatment resistant or those whom have intolerable side effects to medication.
