Mindful Urgent Care

Mindful Urgent Care is New York's first mental health clinic offering same day services that accept commercial insurance. Their goal is to provide quick, easy, and affordable treatment for individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addiction. Treatment at Mindful begins simply with a desire to get help - there are no appointments necessary. 

Mindful’s team is comprised of a wide range of professionals from board certified physicians and psychiatrists to licensed social workers. Treatment begins upon walking through the door, in which the individual seeking help for themselves or their loved one will be greeted by a case specialist and asked a series of pre-screening questions to determine the best possible course of treatment. Once the information is gathered, the case specialist will consult with the interdisciplinary team to formulate a treatment plan often including a combination of short-term medication management, supplemented by individual and group psychotherapy. Patients will also work with an aftercare specialist to ensure that treatment continues beyond the initial visit.  

Mindful recognizes that patients have different needs based on the severity of their symptoms, which is why all treatment plans are personalized to the individuals’ needs using proven, evidence-based mental health services. Mindful also ensures compassion and a person-centered approach to treatment. They treat their patients like they would their own family members. Mindful offers treatment for addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, panic disorders, phobias, dementia, chronic pain, bereavement, insomnia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. We treat individuals as early as twelve years old, to young adults and older adults.
