Originally established in 1920 as a congregational church, the Miami Beach Community Church was integrated in to the Untied Church of Christ in 1957. This modern church is housed within a charming historic building and preaches an attitude of tolerance and compassion. People from all walks of life are welcomed here with equal respect and enthusiasm. A traditional worship service is held on Sunday at 10:30a and a contemporary service at 6p which is more cheerful and lively than its traditional counterpart. The church is involved in a variety of outreach programs, centered around AIDS/ HIV awareness and research, providing care for the homeless, and Gay rights, in partnership with organizations like H.O.P.E and PRIDE.
