MariCare Wellness is a holistic wellness practice, specializing in physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional wellness, which provides medical cannabis recommendations to those who qualify. The medical providers at MariCare Wellness serve the pediatric to the elderly population for the residents living in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. MariCare Wellness was established in the Fall of 2017 and officially launched in March of 2018 by sisters and co-owners, Vernicia Edmond and Melinda Toussaint, along with college best friend, Kiara Walters. Mrs. Edmond and Mrs. Toussaint are both family nurse practitioners and Kiara Walters has a background in business, marketing, finance, business startups, and administration.
