I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a specialization in trauma and neglect, mood and anxiety disorders, and depression. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I have found to be an invaluable tool for treating trauma and PTSD. In my work with clients, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I began my therapy career in the trauma healing division of La Frontera Empact, where I worked with individuals contending with a variety of issues, including trauma and neglect, depression and anxiety, domestic violence, and abuse. Most recently, I worked with adults struggling with substance use and addictions, mood disorders, anxiety, and other issues at Terros Health. In my personal life, I enjoy yoga, cooking, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities. I’m a passionate believer in the power of counseling to help clients recover from hardships, emerge stronger, and resume their journey to a new and better life. Whether you’re struggling with pandemic fatigue or more deep-rooted issues, I’m here to help. I am currently available only for telehealth sessions. When it’s safe to resume in-person sessions, I’ll meet with clients at A Beautiful Soul Counseling’s office in Chandler.
