J & D Oriental Rugs Co. is a family-owned business that specializes in antique and vintage decorative carpets from all over the world. We carry rugs in all shapes and sizes, including oversized, runners, small mats, and odd-shaped rugs. We were founded in 1978 by Joseph Zabihi and his son Daniel, who built the company on their passion for beautiful antique rugs and carpets. We pride ourselves on our deep knowledge of the cultures from which these carpets hail, as well as an understanding of the value of the pieces we sell. Our clientele consists mostly of dealers of antique New York oriental rugs, private homeowners, collectors, interior designers, decorators, or anyone else who has a passion for carpets. We are always interested in buying anything you might want to sell too. We have a restoration department that cleans and restores our rugs as best they can so you can feel confident in your purchase.
