118 NE 2nd St, Miami, FL, 33132
One of the oldest and most significant churches in the city, Gesu Church dates back to the 19th Century. The Catholic Diocese of Miami constructed this church in 1896, and the National Register of Historic Places placed it on its list in 1974. Over the last two centuries, the church has received many refurbishments and renovations; however, much of the original charm remains. The church features remarkable interiors, intricate detailing, a stunning stained glass window, and a huge vaulted roof that welcome you upon stepping inside.
