ABOUT ELLIE LAKEVILLE
Ellie Family Services’ Lakeville office is conveniently located right off of interstate 35, and easily accessible by residents of Burnsville, Apple Valley, Prior Lake & Eagan (and Lakeville duh!). Our clinic is easy to access for folks traveling on all the 35s (ie. 35 East, 35 West and the regular ole’ 35) and isn’t too far from the Twin Cities proper. Beyond its ease of access, our Lakeville clinic offers lots of free parking (it’s a huge lot), and is nice and private, and generally quiet unless our favorite song comes on the radio.
Ellie Lakeville is a community-driven clinic, and staffed by therapists who are from, and deeply involved in the happenings of the local area. Our staff provide in-clinic support to residents throughout the South Metro, and are routinely “embedded” in programming with various schools, churches and other community organizations. Our aim is to have continuous involvement in local events, and to be an integrated resource in Dakota County and surrounding areas.
Ellie Lakeville has therapists who provide a wide range of approaches, specialties & styles and personalities. We have art therapy, trauma therapy, grief/loss counseling, couples and pre-marital support and a whole range of other individual and family approaches to therapeutic services. At Ellie Lakeville, we see ages 5-100+ and do a lot of work with all those in between. We have a special place in our heart for the teenagers as well… kids these days, could use a therapist, and we got ’em.
Our Lakeville Ellie Fam maintain a commitment to developing creative approaches to mental health support, and ensure that each person, couple or family unit receives personalized and customized wellness support to meet their unique needs.
As always, our therapists take a “realistic” approach to mental health service delivery- we value authenticity, humor and creativity (among other things) and do our best to “be real” with those whom we serve. As an agency, we promote innovative thinking and problem solving, and help support our professional staff to show up in genuine ways- this comes from the belief that good therapy must be honest to who we are as individuals.
When we’re not changing the way we approach mental health, we are hanging out in the local area (lots of good bird watching). The Lakeville area offers beautiful scenery and is super close to Buck Hill.
