DV8 Distillery — Best Food and Dining in Boulder, CO

DV8 is a Boulder distillery that is a safe space for unsafe practices. At our distillery in Boulder, bourbon whiskey fills our stills, as does vodka, gin, and rye whiskey, all made in-house. We also host events, such as raves, concerts, DJs, and radical-art installations seldom seen outside the playa. We also host bands, eye-watering comedy shows, drag exhibitions, burlesque, and other forms of theater and hedonism that would make Dionysus blush. Boulder nightlife has been stagnant for a while, and we’re here to make it freaky.

 We are an LGBTQ-friendly, sex-positive bar. Boulder hasn’t had a dedicated space for the LGBTQ community in a long time, despite their positive disposition towards the culture. Therefore, DV8 is proud to say that we are the only dedicated queer bar in Boulder. 

That doesn’t mean that we are strictly a queer bar. Boulder has many dispositions, and therefore we like to treat DV8 like European techno clubs or a Boulder Burning Man event, where once you enter our doors, you are free, as long as you are respectful of the community around you. 

Boulder Distillery Tours

We give tours at our distillery in Boulder! Distillery tours are a great way to learn how to make rice whiskey, or how gin is stilled down from juniper berries. We take you through the process and show you the stills, siphons, mash, and all other pieces of technology that go into making our single-barrel whiskey, bourbon, gluten-free vodka, and floral gins. Obviously, you get to drink them too!
