Davis Garage was started by A. Eugene Davis in 1939 in a small garage in downtown Winston Salem, NC. A.E. Davis was afounding member of the IndependentGarage Owners of North Carolina. He was also the inventor of one of the first tow trucks in the United States. We have the distinction of being the73rdoldestestablished towing company in the countryand have been entered in theTowman 50 Most ExperiencedTowers in the United States. Harvey Davis, the second generation and current leader, is a founding member of the Towing and Recovery Professionals of North Carolina. He is also a long time member of the Towing and Recovery Association of America. Davis Garage has undertaken the mission of doing excellent work at a fair price while promoting trust with its customer. Give us a try and see what a difference that experience can make. We have had the unique privilege of owningtherailroad depot and operating our business from this location since 1977. The Depotwas sold to the City of Winston Salem in July of 2012 to be redeveloped asa multimodal transportation center.
