In the state of Wisconsin, there is a lighthouse located just on the northern side of Bailey's Harbor, renowned as the Cana Island lighthouse. Launched in 1870, it has helped several ships and smaller jetties to find shore. The lighthouse is iconic to the history of 19h century as it replaced the initially built Baileys Harbor lighthouse. This lighthouse not only serves as a navigational light, but also as a museum. It is on the National Register of Historic places.
