Ammonoosuc Community Health Services — in Littleton, NH

Ammonoosuc Community Health Services (ACHS) began in Littleton in 1975 - more than 35 years ago. In the early years, the NH Department of Health and Human Services funded the organization primarily to provide public health services for women and children including family planning, WIC (Women, Infants & Children), prenatal and child healthcare. Over the years, ACHS expanded into full primary care for all members of the community regardless of age or gender, including the insured and uninsured, high and low incomes. Several physical moves were made to accommodate this growth, until in 1989 a permanent home was made at the current 25 Mt. Eustis Road location. In 2011, ACHS-Littleton underwent a $2.6M renovation/expansion project made possible through ARRA funding (American Recovery & Reinvestment Act) to provide even more access to care for those we serve in the community.
